Coordinator – Technical Records
Air Arabia is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Coordinator – Technical Records to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining accurate fleet technical records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Job Purpose
The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain an updated and accurate database of all fleet technical records according to the airline’s policies. You will also preserve, control, and archive continuous airworthiness records as per regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The Coordinator – Technical Records will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and verifying data transmitted from Electronic Tech Logs to the airline’s fleet management system. This includes flight hours, cycles, fuel consumption, defects, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinating and following up on technical queries from engineering, stores, and maintenance teams.
- Ensuring each aircraft's technical logbook reflects all maintenance tasks accurately.
- Reporting accomplished Service Bulletins to Airbus and OEMs as required.
- Collaborating with Quality Assurance to prepare documents for Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARC) for each aircraft annually.
- Generating and reviewing various reports, ensuring all information is accurate and timely.
- Producing analysis for Management, Engineering, Finance, and CAA, covering Non-Revenue Flights, Utilization Reports, and other operational data.
- Highlighting trends, abnormalities, and aircraft component usage to aid management decisions.
- Maintaining professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and networking with industry peers.
- Maintaining the technical archive system as per airline procedures and CAA regulations.
- Supporting the team by achieving related results as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Higher diploma or certificate in Management or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Training in Compliance, Document Control, Librarian, or Quality Assurance is a plus.
- Proficiency in technology tools, including Microsoft Suite and Advanced Excel.
- Membership in aviation-related professional associations is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience & Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1-2 years of experience in document control or records management in the aviation industry.
- Experience with Airbus A320 family aircraft preferred.
- Understanding of aircraft airworthiness programs, CAMO documentation, and maintenance planning.
- Knowledge of airline and flight operations regulations.
- Strong multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work with data and resources cost-effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills in dynamic environments.
- Good problem-solving, decision-making, and judgment abilities.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
- Ability to work under pressure without compromising quality.
- Strong interpersonal skills to support company objectives.
- Ability to deliver against business strategies and KPIs.
Working Conditions
This role requires the ability to work in a rotating shift pattern, including nights.
